How much can I boost the volume?
Up to 3x (300%). Be careful with very high values as they may introduce clipping (distortion) on loud passages.
Will boosting volume cause distortion?
If the original audio has peaks near maximum level, boosting above 1.5x may cause clipping. Try smaller increases and preview the result.
Can I reduce volume below 0.1x?
The minimum is 0.1x (10% of original volume). For complete silence, consider using the Remove Audio tool on a video file.
